Blessing Voucher Application

Introduction

Commencing in December 2022, The Salvation Army Recycling Programme has initiated the Blessing Voucher to provide assistance to the needy in the community. Eligible applicants can apply through registered social workers. After approval, they can receive the vouchers and redeem at The Salvation Army Family Stores in Hong Kong for daily necessities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be Hong Kong residents and from the following underprivileged groups in the community, such as home alone elderly, rehabilitated persons and comprehensive social security assistance recipients etc.

Application Procedure

Registered social workers can assess and refer applicants. After completing the application form, the registered social worker may submit it to our organization (The Salvation Army Recycling Programme) via email to rp.admin@hkm.salvationarmy.org or fax at 2332 4411 for review and approval.

Voucher Approval

- Adult applicants are eligible for HK$800 in Blessing Voucher per year (HK$50 x 10 + HK$20 x 15)

- Child applicants (aged below 18) are eligible for HK$500 in Blessing Voucher per year (HK$50 x 10)

- Each approved applicant is entitled to apply the Blessing Voucher once per year

- Application approval period: 30 working days

2. If the approved applicant is unable to collect the Voucher in person, please download the authorization letter to allow an authorized representative to collect the Voucher on their behalf.
